We’ve Been Setting the Standard Since 1973
Karnik On Black has been in professional pet care for over 50 years — long before “luxury pet lodging” was a phrase people used. Our Waterville facility was thoughtfully designed to feel more like a modern pet resort than a traditional kennel.
Whether your dog is joining us for a day of play, settling into a comfortable suite while you travel, or stopping by for a fresh groom — our team is here to make every visit feel safe, familiar, and cared for.
Safety First
Professional supervision, secure facilities, and trained staff.
Premium Experience
Clean, modern, comfortable — a true step above basic boarding.
Transparent Communication
Pet cameras, updates, and responsive staff you can reach.
Compassionate Care
We treat every pet as if they were our own.
15,000 Sq. Ft. of Play & Enrichment
Our doggy daycare program gives your dog the exercise, socialization, and enrichment they need — in a professionally supervised, safe environment. Not just running around in a yard. A structured, thoughtful program designed around each dog’s individual needs.
Group Play Daycare
Structured social play with compatible groups — supervised, safe, energizing. Ideal for social, well-matched dogs.
K9 Fit Klub — Individual Daycare
For dogs who prefer solo enrichment. Activity, attention, and care tailored to the individual dog’s personality.
