Dog Trainer (K9 Coach)

- Up to $15/hr DOE
- On-site • Waterville, OH
What you’ll do
- Conduct evaluations; recommend programs that fit each dog’s needs and owner goals
- Deliver private lessons and small-group classes (foundations, manners, enrichment)
- Create written training plans with milestones; track and document progress
- Coach pet parents on homework and safe handling; set clear expectations
- Partner with daycare/lodging teams to reinforce training while pets are on site
What we’re looking for
- Demonstrated training skill set (share your approach and specialties)
- Confident handler; clear, professional communicator and teacher
- Organized note-taker; comfortable with basic computer entries
- Able to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Nice to have: Certifications (CPDT-KA, FFCP, etc.), shelter/daycare/vet experience, puppy & reactive-dog skills
