Front Desk Receptionist (Pet Boarding)

- Full-time preferred (30–40 hrs/wk)
- Weekend & holiday rotation
- Up to $15/hr DOE
- On-site • Waterville, OH
What you’ll do
- Be the first friendly face & voice for pet parents: check-ins/outs, phones, payments, scheduling
- Create & update reservations; verify vaccine/medical records with accuracy
- Resolve issues with empathy; keep the lobby organized and calm during busy periods
- Enter detailed notes in our systems; handle cash/credit accurately
- Communicate clearly with daycare, lodging, and grooming teams to keep pets on schedule
What we’re looking for
- Reliable professional who enjoys a busy front desk and helping people
- Polished phone etiquette, clear writing, and strong computer skills
- Comfortable around dogs/cats of all sizes; safety-first mindset
- Able to stand/walk for extended periods, leash-walk dogs, bend/stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Nice to have: Veterinary clinic, hotel front desk, call center, or pet-care experience
Hours & availability
- Full-time preferred (30–40 hrs/wk); part-time considered
- Rotating schedule includes weekends & holidays
